 The Boardwalk is within walking distance to the colorful Kemah Marina. It features casual dining such as Landry's Seafood, the Aquarium, Cadillac Mexican, and Joe's Crab Shack. Included in the actual Boardwalk area are shops and entertainment areas for all ages, carnival-type rides and a train. The outdoor pavilion often features live music acts, depending on what the season is. The restaurants all face Galveston Bay and Seabrook, offering refreshing breezes and beautiful views for those dining outdoors. Anchoring the Boardwalk is the Boardwalk Inn, a full-service hotel. Next to the actual Boardwalk area sits a quaint little shopping district that features a variety of stores and eateries, all just a short walk away. You'll find a lot of antiques and items you don't normally find at shopping malls. Just around the bridge, on Waterfront Street, are a handful of locations to get some of the freshest shrimp on the Gulf Coast. Kemah is located east of Clear Lake, just past NASA, south of Seabrook, and is a great destination for a brief afternoon lunch or an entire day.
