The Festival in the Park is a four day outdoor arts and crafts festival with 175 artists and craft exhibitors and nearly 1000 entertainers. It is starts on the third Thursday after Labor Day and is a four day event. This outdoor event showcases local and regional artists in a wholesome family environment around Freedom Park Lake.

Oktoberfest Kickoff Event - Charlotte Oktoberfest will take place Saturday, Septmber 27th, 2008 at Memorial Stadium in Charlotte. The 10th Annual Charlotte Oktoberfest Beer Festival will take place Saturday, October 1st from 2 - 8 pm in the NoDa Arts District.
The 10th annual festival event will feature over 200 craft-brewed beers, live music and more.
