The exhibition features works in all media by leading contemporary artists from the southeastern United States. Thresholds explores the many borders inherent in religious belief and practice, among them borders between life and death, body and soul, matter and spirit, past and present, public and private. The artists have provided interpretations of these dichotomies through expressions of broad spiritual themes and a myriad of religious traditions. |
