Dating Ideas for the Romantically Challenged |

Spending some quality and romantic time with your significant other can be accomplished by having them come over and make homemade ice cream! It is very easy to do! Go to your local department store and pick up an electric ice cream machine (For those who are adventurous you can buy a manual ice cream machine.... It will take longer but you will be able to spend more time with your date). Once you have bought the machine, look inside for the ingredients that you will need! Next stop is the grocery store! Pick up the stuff you need! Since, Food TV, said that ice cream is in the "top 5" comfort foods.....you're bound to be a hit! |

| 2. | This idea is ideal for getting to know someone better! Find the local park or lake in your area that has ducks! This is very important. Next go to the local grocery store and buy a couple of loaves of bread (GET THE INEXPENSIVE KIND...YOU'LL UNDERSTAND LATER). It would be a good idea to get something to drink..soda, wine, beer...whatever you like. Go pick up your date and go to the park or lake! While enjoying each others company and sipping on your drinks....enjoy the scenery! The next step is to find the DUCKS!Remember the bread, this is where it comes into play! If you don't know anything about ducks at a lake or park....let me feel you in! They are hungry little devils....I've seen some that can get down right mean, anyway, you don't have to worry because you remembered to bring the bread! Start breaking up the bread into pieces and feed them, you will no doubt have fun and find that there will be a lot of laughter that comes along with this date! |
| Comments: Go to a zoo! Somebody else feeds the animals and there's a bigger variety. Once you've seen one duck....you have seen them all. At a zoo, you can buy your drink there, so look at all the energy you saved by not having to carry all that stuff around. Keeping in mind the date above this one, it's always more fun to get sticky if you have a lot of energy. | |
| 3. | This is for the active set! Get a group of your friends together and go to the local park for a picnic and a friendly softball game or touch football game. It is always a bunch of fun and guarantee's everyone a good time. Remember to bring a lot something to drink. Plenty of water is in order! | 4. | This date will take a little effort on your part! Make dinner for your date! Italian food is always a good choice. For one it is easy to make and very hard to mess up! I'm not suggesting that you make the sauce from scratch, you can buy jar sauce! Go to the store and buy thin spaghetti, a jar of sauce, a loaf of Italian bread, some salad and your favorite salad dressing, a bottle of Merlot wine and some flowers. Stop by your local video store or go online and rent a romantic movie. You are ready to go. Have your date come over or if you want pick them up! Prepare dinner and serve it in the dim light of candles. After dinner you and your date can get cozy and watch the movie you rented. |

| 6. | Roll up your selves....you might get dirty on this date! What you want to do is clean out the garage! If you don't have a garage make plans to clean your date's garage. I know, I hear you already! Neither of you have a garage. Then make plans to clean your parents or your date's parent's garage. If you decide to clean out your date's parents garage then a lot of good things can happen! One of the side benefits will be the good will established with your date's parents! You will be able to find out allot of things about your date, for example, are they bossy or nice, what they were like before you meet. You may not like the work but the benefits you receive will be well worth it! |

Now if you want to go through with this hard working idea, a couple of days before your date arrives, clean out anything that's going to get you in trouble. Don't forget...your date is really going to try and impress you if they go along with this, so let them do most of the work....they really want to! | |
| 7. | Fun is the name of the game with this idea! Make plans to go out and eat hamburgers and then go to an arcade to play all the games. They usually have a miniature golf or batting cages at most amusement centers, so that way you and your date will be in for fun and laughter for the whole evening! Don't forget to take enough quarters for the video games you will be playing. |
